About
“I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.”
– Henry David Thoreau

Meghan has been a life long mark-maker, and animal lover. At a young age her love of nature was apparent. She spent her childhood summers playing in the creek along her grandparents property catching crawdads and stacking rocks - whenever there wasn't a pencil and sketchbook in her hands.
Beginning early in life, horses and the bridle trails of Ohio became a central focal point of her enjoyment of the natural world and subject of her art. Moving through Ohio's diverse landscape and seasons strengthened her appreciation of our state and national park systems.
She earned her BFA at Columbus College of Art and Design and continues to strive to marry her passions of nature and horses with painting as self-expression.
