Communing with the Finger Lakes

I just got home from a fall weekend collecting fresh painting references in the Finger Lakes region of NY, and it was full of geological wonders and views. The cool hues of the slate and rock formations against the warm tones of turning leaves are a pretty great color combo. Now to buckle down on some gorge and waterfall inspired work?
